Yes, it went faster
Back in February, I went to Island - I finally got around to posting the results.
2013 dodge challenger srt8 with an auto. Mods: K&N cold air kit BB Tri Flo cat back Ported stock intake manifold 88 MM throttle body Tune 275 40 20 nitto drag radials The ported intake, tune, throttle body and drag radials really didn't give me much. Sure, I can easier cut 1.7's now....but I hit a 1.77 on a street tire. The intake and throttle body were overkill....but would help in the future if the car gets a power gain ;) It was high 50's to low 60's I think? 11:23 am 60...........1.756 <--new best 330.........5.047 1/8..........7.757 Mph.........91.59 1000........10.105 1/4...........12.079 <--new best Mph..........116.04 11:59 am 60...........1.778 330.........5.088 1/8..........7.833 Mph.........89.62 1000........10.188 1/4...........12.163 Mph..........115.70 12:43 pm 60...........1.926 330.........5.466 1/8..........8.271 Mph.........88.25 1000........10.655 1/4...........12.647 Mph..........114.44 1:34 pm 60...........1.790 330.........5.122 1/8..........7.853 Mph.........90.90 1000........10.222 1/4...........12.213 Mph..........114.87 Sigh, I need a hellcat |
I would love some of that 60'. The times are very respectable for the mods. Nice job.
Did you happen to scale it? Oh and the video didn't load..... ;) |
Come on, it's really hard to complain with a 12.0 time slip on a street car! That's fantastic.

No, I haven't weighed the pig yet.....prob like 5 million pounds though ;)
I forgot to video that day. Oh and I run 27 psi in the rear tires. On the street, I usually run 33 to 35 psi so it's almost exactly the same as how I drove it on the street. I was expecting an 11.8. My goal is mid to high 11's in street trim. I think it will take heads n cam for mid 11's. I won't do a converter. I dunno, I may need some more practice....but it's fun trying :) |
