88 Camaro Braking Issue
88 Camaro base model v8 auto. Front disc rear drum.
Replaced both front calipers last year with new pads. Car was and still is pulling to the left severely, also when you step off the brakes, they do not immediately release. Bled the front brakes again and no change, removed calipers and pads again to check them and appear to be ok. No visible leaks, no fluid loss. |
I think with factory rubber flex lines they could collapse and hold pressure.

Yes, pulling brakes can be caused by a weak hose. If it pulls right, usually the left front hose is weak and expanding, not allowing the caliper to compress as much as the right.

go with some nice braided stainless steel hoses for a firmer pedal feel. the rubber ones are cheaper if that is what you are after, but they have some give to them. braided lines do not
