what do you think?

seems like a stock sized cam to me...

Batman 07-01-2005 03:16 PM

That is a bit bigger then stock if V6 cams are like V8 cams (I would assume they are). A stocker is probably in the 185-195 range tops. Also the 112LSA is definately not stock. Seems like it would be a good add on to me. If you do it though make sure you change your sprigns, retainers, etc, etc also while you are in there.

yeah, the stock cam is extreamlyl mild... this isn't too heavy but its enough to add some decent power... but they have three durations on there ... i'm guessing the 278 intake 288 exhaust is the right one.... :?:

Tru2Chevy 07-01-2005 06:22 PM

That's just 3 ways to list the duration. Most common is duration @ .050 which is 204/214 on this cam. That would wake your car up a bit, and still keep it plenty streetable.

EDIT - I see you won the auction. Makes sure that you get springs, retainers, etc. to match the cam before you go to install it.

It'll be nice and lumpy with a 112 LSA also. Should sound good
