LS1+Stall=Fun
I just got my car back after having a Yank SS3600 and tune done. WOW, what a difference. I really didn't think a stall made such a difference. I have no traction below 50 mph, but I need to burn the tires off to make room for some Mickeys anyway:mrgreen:. I'm now a believer in two pedals can be just as fun as shifting. I have to give thanks to Race Proven Motorsports in Claymont DE for doing the work, they have a clean shop, answered all my questions, and there prices we're very fair. Now I can't wait until Atco opens up to see what she'll do.

hah yeah, a stalled LS1 is fun :) Esp when you can stall it up and launch as 12# boost
|
i have never driven an ls1 without a stall since i bougt my car with it but i do love the way it drives
|
when i had my 93 z28 the converter sometimes wouldn't start to engage until about 2500ish rpm on cold starts. if i punched it was just sidewaysssss on my goodyears.
always loved it when it did that though. wish i had the money to do one in my car. |
what gears do you have?

7998,
How is the gas mileage with the new stall? and what are your other mods? |

Congrats. Looking forward to a stall in the near future as well

me, personally, i hate when my car stalls...i would think it was a problem to drive my car and have it stall. glad you like it though.
However, the LS1 cars I've been in with higher stall torque converters were a lot of fun. Typically just that with a few stupid mods is close to mid 12s. |
