Getting ready for the track

I haven't had much luck with this engine swap. My car had the original 3.4 liter engine with a t3/t4 garrett turbo. After watching guys go 11 and 10 seconds with the turbocharged 3500 lx9 engine.I decided to upgrade. To date I've only ran 13 and 14 second time slips. Although this was with street tires and a 2600 stall converter. Last year I increased boost from 15 to 20 lbs (approx. 500hp) and torque converter stall speed to 3200 rpm's. As I was headed over to my buddies house to borrow some drag radials I got on the throttle when the engine let loose. I believe it was a bad knock sensor (zero resistance) that caused the carnage.
Looking forward to getting back to the track and see if i can finally get that 11 second slip.

Drag radials
Air Bag in the right rear
Remove front sway bar
This is what we did to our cam only SS that's in the low 11s with 1.5x 60'

That's rough. Any particular reason you went with a 3200 stall speed over a 3600?
In my 4L60E, I've only either had a stock stall, or a Yank SS3600. I have only 50 or so miles on the 3600 stall (all of which have been easy, city/town driving), but it's been a pleasure.

If your 60's need improving, perhaps the above will ease your mind as far the "street manners" compromise is concerned.

What are your motor plans now?

I would do the drag radials on a different set of wheels and swap them at the track.
Also the air bag can be deflated so you won't even know it's there from daily driving if that's what you use the car for.
If you don't want to take the front sway off I can understand that.
Torque arm and relocation brackets will also help your 60' and not kill your pocket.

What transmission? What gear ratio? Boost controller? Tire? Vehicle weight? What shocks?

I have the drag bags and haven't had the sway bar on for years. Drag radials Nitto 555r came ups yesterday.

Motor is a chevy 3500 v6 that had very low miles on it, bought it used. Had very good compression. I replaced the stock cam with a turbo cam with higher lift. Upgraded valve springs, seals and pushrods. Bottom end is all stock.
