To remove the wiring from the cd changer in my car. I removed the actual changer but the wiring is still there...anyone can help??

it runs under the carpet on the drivers side all the way to the radio. its a pain in the ass to remove unless your already ripping apart your interior. i left it there cause it wasnt worth the half pound weight reduction. id rather take a **** before i go to the track. just tuck it in the carpet and call it a day

if yyou look in my car anytime soon you can see the wiring and all

im surprised that the wiring is still in there. all that wire has to add up to like 2lbs or something. lol:grin:

thanks comrad...but i want to keep the wires somewhat intact so i can sell the changer...but thank you for your russian input...

barb, if i'm not mistaken, all cars had the wires pre-ran. all you need to do is install the changer on a non-changer car :)

hmm really...i'll have to double check that...thanks jake...
