Pics of my new wheels.

Decided against getting 18inch TT 2's, and opted for some nice 18inch C6 Z06s :)

Now theres a bit of a gap in the wheel well(since i went low pro)... so after i pay my vegas trip off i'll be ordering a 1.2 inch drop kit to even her out :D

I love those wheels. Looks great and once u paint those calipers red it will really finish it off.

Thanks.

Actually just thought about getting some brembo calipers/rotors along with my 1.2inch drop. Wondering if Brembo has anything(caliper wise) for f-bombs...

usp55 07-28-2008 10:38 PM

I know they have the rotors, but their 08' online catalogue doesn’t show any "fbomb" (man I could go for a carbomb right now - sorry) calipers

Knipps 07-28-2008 11:02 PM

Nice choice!

Fast92RS 07-29-2008 08:35 AM

Sweet. They look good.

sweetbmxrider 07-29-2008 05:03 PM

they look damn good. i am doing a c5 caliper upgrade in the near future. a lot cheaper than most brake kits out there. kore3 offers the kit about half way down for f-bombs. you can google around and find people that did it. you need to cut the old mounting ears off of your spindles, but well worth it!! and the 18inch wheels will let you get some nice Z06 calipers in there!

Jersyboyy 07-29-2008 05:11 PM

Yes they look really good.Def post up pics of the drop when you get it.

deadtrend1 07-29-2008 06:23 PM

Wheels look nice. I swear I seen your car somewhere. Maybe yesterday when I was down in Turnersville.

Love the look of 18's. I would think over the idea of lowering it. Dont get me wrong, I think the lowered look is amazing but traction and ground clearance sucks and the ride becomes very stiff. When I put in the eibach kit, the car dropped a little over 2" when advertised at 1.2". I also see that you have the LM like I do, the resonator will ride very close to the ground. LM+lowering+speed bumps=bad. I ended up putting the stock springs back in. My .02

sweetbmxrider 07-30-2008 02:20 PM

if you lower your car right, most of those things can be avoided. stiff ride is expected, traction can be gained but not better than a full drag setup, my LM clears great, i'm more worried about the cat that catches on the heat shield over speed bumps. with the great look of a lowered car comes the responsibility of watching out for pot holes and such. i would drive cautious with the wheels anyways though.

KirkEvil 07-30-2008 02:43 PM

Haha, wait til a honda pulls up and revs next to you....just remember to drive cautious because you have lowering springs and pretty wheels.

Frosty 07-30-2008 06:24 PM

Much better choice than the TT2's. Good choice.

Jam 07-30-2008 06:54 PM

Great Choice. DOWN WITH THE TT2s !!!

chemicalstylez 07-31-2008 07:41 AM

thanks all.

I already drive really cautious... always have. I always wanted my car to avoud rattles at all costs and so far so good. Surprisingly the cars rides better with the 18s, don't ask how... I wanted to keep the drop to 1.2 at the most because I know 1.2 usually means like 2. When I dropped my monte carlo 1.5inchs it actually came down 3 inches lol.

Jam 07-31-2008 09:44 AM

next up CETA mod for u

maroman88 07-31-2008 11:30 AM

nahh id leave the CETA alone... id get some black 30th anni style stripes, then maaayyyybbbeee do the CETA

chemicalstylez 07-31-2008 03:32 PM

Not sure about doing the CETA bumper... I don't think it would look right with my silver badging i changed... because my badges arent stickers. And my plater filler is painted silver too.

Thought about painting my grills silver though...... i have a lot of ideas being tossed around. But after the drop i'm thinking its heads and cam time.

LTb1ow 07-31-2008 04:24 PM

Heads/cam FTW! Looks great though!

IROCZman15 08-25-2008 04:29 AM
