My build engineer scares me. i feel like this is his face whenever my name pops up in his phone

We need someone good at photoshop.

Engine harness acquired.

New long tubes enroute.

Debating on ordering the catless Y as well or just having it done with the rest of my exhaust. Still up in the air on what to do.

1. Y to muffler Dumped before axle.
2. true duals with mufflers dumped before axle.
3. y to normal catback and just have a cut out for business

sweetbmxrider 12-21-2016 08:51 PM

I do love my stealth mode.....even though every cut out is a piece of ****

Blackbirdws6 12-22-2016 12:51 AM

Option 3. Kirk still have his rear section?

MDSheds_SS 12-22-2016 06:26 AM

ORY dumped before the axle, sounds good but does get annoying after awhile. I'm thinking of running full exhaust sooner then later

LTb1ow 12-22-2016 07:41 AM

I have always wanted a hood stack with flapper and on two step to shoot flames, but way to mainstream now.

I just bought a set of truck headers and plan to make bumper exit exhaust non turbo for OCMD2017 Just to add some wow factor to my block long burnouts.

I was trying to figure out how you would do a bumper exit with long tubes and couldnt think of any logical way to do it. Flipped truck manifolds will be perfect for it.

Maybe even merge it in front of the engine like and X pipe and dump out each side of the car

Shorty truck headers come with bungs for the 02s. Flip them and pipe it under the frame rail and out the bumper. X pipe will be a bit much going on I think. This will just be for show, actually just to be ridiculous... But don't believe any performance gains will be had.

LS1ow 12-22-2016 01:00 PM

Besides the fact itll be a paint to get the car on a lift, i dont think my ride height will work well with these. kinda like em tho

Would look great with that wing you'll make and the road race vibe.

anyone have a ls1/4L60e wiring harness diagram thats better than this one? Id like to label it all up nicey nice

http://lt1swap.com/stock_ls1.jpg

Jersey Mike 12-22-2016 02:10 PM

That's actually decent & should get you by even without adult supervision. Which connectors do you need clarity on?

LTb1ow 12-22-2016 02:17 PM

Its GM, nothing can plug into things it should not be plugged into...

Mostly the 1 sticking out of the harness right about were the crank sensor is labeled.

Also, which side is bank 1 and bank 2 for the injectors.

other than that im good. I the 3 connectors by the PCM are those on the pass shock tower, and the other 2 "C" connectors are for the dash/body

Purple gasket, pictured in between the metal cowl clip and the heat tape?
It's extra.
(J/K, will look when I get home)

See the grommet? Runs through the firewall.

Starting at the PCM on the passenger side, C100, C101 & C105 run over the passenger shock tower (be a doll & tuck them under the tower through the wheel well).
The foil tape drops down by the passenger header.

The remainder of the bulky portion of the harness runs along the underside of the cowl, behind the intake and motor. He's laid out the injectors section of the harness for you, respective to its proper side.

The IAT, MAD & all that you know.
The rest drop down from there.

LS1ow 12-22-2016 04:17 PM

one thing I noticed so far is that the alternator plug is MIA.

Also, on the "fuel rail" section of the harness, what are the extra plugs there? And the extra one by the knock sensor as well?

Looking at it on a computer with color does make it a lot easier. My work printer isn't color lol
