guaging intrest - 4th gen rims
 

im lookin to get some new rims for my 88 and was really lookin for some 10-spoke SS rims with decent tires, they dont have to be new but over 50%

ill also consider any ZR1's or ZO6's and maybe some stock chrome WS6 rims.

looking to spend around $500 and must be local

hmm i got a set of silver z06 wheels that i am goin to be selling... they are 17x9.5... they are cosmetically 100% no curb rash or anything like that... the only kicker is that i want to sell them with out the tires... the wheels are mabye 8-9 months old and have maybe 2500miles on them at the most...im looking for $300 for the wheels... ill give you the lock lugs and chrome stems with em too... they are the wheels pictured in my signature on my formule... if you are interested let me know by they way im from brick NJ so i donno where you are located in reference to that...

i may consider my chrome zo6's for 500$ 18x9.5 fronts and 18x10.5 in the rear front tires are pretty much new 265's/35/18 and the rear should be replaced soon but the tires are 275/40/18 they are pretty good shape little pitting on the inside barely noticable

transmaro, what size are the tires ur using with the 17's?

275/40/17... but iv seen people go 255 - 315 on a 9.5 inch wheel so 275 is just in the middle and what they run stock on factory ss and ws6's

315 on a 9.5" wheel???

Didn't think that was possible, and I really don't think that's safe. They are usually mounted on 11" wheels, not 9.5"

yea i know that but some kid i knew with a 02 trans am vert... had 315 drag radials on his stock ws6 wheels... i seen it with my own two eyes... i wouldnt do it either but obviosly it can be done... looked a little funny tho cause the tire was bent in so much at the beads....

Hey Mike, I have my old set of Black ZR1's just throw me an offer I want these gone quickly. I also have my stock salad shooters but you probably won't be interested in them.
