Quarter molding

Finally, after what seems like an eternity my car is getting fixed. Dropped it off about 3 weeks ago and is now in paint stage. Made the decision to have the entire car painted instead of just the area being repaired and after looking at the progress today I def made the right decision. Looks amazing so far and should be finished later this week. Only having one issue, finding a piece of passenger side rear quarter molding, the piece in between the door and rear wheel well. The guy doing the body work had no luck and tried to make on out of my old door molding and while i appreciate the effort it just doesnt look right. He did say that if i found one somewhere hed be happy to paint it and install on the car. Would love to find one before i pick it up later this week that way it is all complete and i dont have to go back and risk it not matching. Any ideas where i could find one either used or new let me know please, ive searched with no luck so far. Any help is appreciated, sorry about my ramblings, thanks.

I forgot they're different between the Firebird & Camaros.
I have 2 sets that came off of my Firebirds. I never cared for them & removed them. Too bad they're not interchangeable; I was going to say you could just have them.

For what it's worth, when repainting mine, I opted to leave the badges & door guards/moldings off.

Yeah i went back and forth on whether or not i wanted them gone but decided to stay with them for now and just have the pinstriping removed

Another for having them completely gone! It makes a world of a difference in the looks department.
