Much better ::golf clap::
The molding on the LS1 was discoloring and looked ugly, so that was one of the first things i did to it. |
Very nice...

Nice work. It was one of the first things I did to my car, and I think it made a huge difference. Looks even better on the birds.

Never noticed mine, if its still on there Ill have to rip it off before I send her in for paint...btw the TA looks good.
|
just out of curiosity what is the best way to go about this? ive heard of fishing line, blow dryer etc.
|
i used a heat gun, fishing line and goo gone
first i heated i up with the heat gun, the slid the fishing line thru removing the molding. then i used the heat gun to heat up the remaing tape and peeled it off with my fingers, then i used the goo gone to clean up the rest and the old dried wax and dirt. |
looks good man... such a little thing makes a huge difference
|
hmm... definitely going to do it now after seeing some pics... ive been thinking about it for a while
|
It def is a MUST on a Camaro. Out of all the firebirds I have owned and my current i haven't done it.
|
looks good, I plan to do it on the iroc when I pick up new doors
