2000 ZL1 Camaro hood
 

I was wondering what hood the 2000 ZL1 concept car had. it looks like a modified SS hood, but i'm not sure. For anyone who doesn't know what i'm talking about, here's the ZL1:

I believe it's known as the big block hood

Too my knowledge its a one off hood I think. But heres just a few that I have found that look similar.

I heard somewhere that a company called A&A did the hood. it's a fiberglass piece.

The hood was just for the ZL1 cars. It's like the SS hood but with a larger cowl. The big block hood looks almost the same but has the 'torpedo' in the middle like the old Vette hoods.

Dont knock it man, my old camaro used to have that same grille style. Heres a front profile shot of what it used to look like before i released it back

it looks like the big block hood with the middle part removed.

It looks wide enough, but it doesn't look tall enough. is there any way i could raise the scoop a little bit? It's made out of fiberglass.

Look online on ebay they have them, I was gonna buy one i forget the company tho...

im sure someone half-decent with fiberglass could hack out the scoop and raise it up a bit
