Well pulled the trigger on a 16 SS

I just couldn't help myself lol. She is a 1SS which came with a lot of stuff standard. I wound up with an automatic. I was leaning towards a stick but the more I thought about it the less it mattered. Car is super fun to drive and makes plenty of power as she sits. I'm having a blast just going out for drives again.

Plenty of power you say..... Nothing wrong with a nice intake and a tune right?:evil::mrgreen::mrgreen:

The only thing your avatar pic is missing is the devil's horns, Blackbird.

Years are spent engineering these cars but are easily ruined in an afternoon with a few beers and a 10mm socket.

greenformula92 08-12-2016 12:26 PM

yeah we do

IROCZman15 08-19-2016 10:35 PM

dude! I am so JEALOUS!! I just rented a 2016 (v6 auto 8 speed) for a vacation trip and put over 2,000 miles on the car. I am not much of a modern car aficionado , and of course would have had the V8 setup you have, but damn!! loved the car I got so carried away the day I rented it that I decided to take off the front license plate (for aesthetics) and ended up forgetting to come back inside to grab my actual wedding ring before heading to Maine. (no joke). my wife understood, she drove the car for a good 700 or so miles total and also agrees that it was awesome

Jersey Mike 08-20-2016 07:49 AM

I heard that the v6s do 13.8's & better...

IROCZman15 08-24-2016 10:37 AM

ha Mike.

( I sent mike the video but I used my G-tech on the v6 rental car and it went 13.88 at 107.8 mph )

The_Bishop 08-24-2016 01:16 PM

Can I be nosy and ask what you paid and where you got it? Been debating selling my car to buy a daily/winter driver and trading my Ram in.

That is a really sharp color scheme. Classy and ominous and the same time. :)

34984 is where we ended up. sticker on it was 39,995.

Congrats man. I miss the hell out of mine. Good job on the A8, it's faster by quite a bit over the M6(if that's your thing, some people still like rowing through the gears).

GM is coming out with their intake soon, just waiting on it to be CARB certified in Nazi California which also has a tune that comes with it(well, really just a MAF recalibration). Most tuners haven't really gotten the A8 settings down so don't expect anything trans wise. IMO the A8 shifts fine the way it is, it's definitely quicker than the previous 6L80E.

Once this mess is over with me(hoping by spring) I'm definitely buying another one. I'm either going to do the same combo as my totaled one(instead of the white interior I'll go red) or gray w/black wheels and the red accent interior package.
