My 2017 Corvette Procharger project

After much research and planning and discussing with Dave @ EFX tuning (best tuner out there, that became a good friend)

WE ARE PROCHARGING the Corvette!!!:nod::nod::nod:

Thanks to Dave and his team at EFX Tuning I now have all the parts on order that are needed for this project.

the car already has Corsa X-Pipe and Corsa Xtreme exhaust.

Ordered:

-NGK step colder plugs
-Corsa 1-7/8 Long Tube Headers
-P1SC procharger kit
-160 TSTAT
-and the proper BARO harnesses

Subscribe to this thread to follow the project.

End result is going to be roughly 575-600 WHP on 93 octane

I have nothing but positive things to say about Dave and his team at EFX

He just tuned my customers 2017 Grand Sport and got 470WHP out of a few simple bolt ons

Very nice. What made you go with the P1 vs the other units? Is the safe limit with the LT1 around 600-650rwhp max?

Should be a beast.

MDSheds_SS 02-23-2018 05:36 AM

Best of luck with the build buddy. Get that stuff in time for March 30th lol.

Yeah that's why I did the p1 . Safe limit is 6-650 som I'm doing 6 . Very small ring gap and couple other weak items people are blowing pistons up lol

I thought build threads were supposed to last years!! I've been doing it all wrong!

Looks good though, who made those headers?

MDSheds_SS 03-18-2018 08:27 AM

Guess all you need now is a set of tires and a day to test n tune...

I was planning this for a while, waiting for everything to fall into place, then bang it out fast and get it tuned so the car don't lay up long.

car is at daves @efxtuning now

im really not trying to drag race this cause I DONT wanna have to replace axles, a clutch, torque tube or anything else...

just cruise with it , go to cars and coffee meets, etc;

now the Camaro on the other hand, dump it at 6200 every pass , break it , tow it home, rebuild and GO lol

dave cleaned everything up nice for me. We left the covers off so he could swap out the MAP with the breakout harness and throw the catch can in that he got me !

Blackbirdws6 03-20-2018 08:28 PM

Looking good. Need to tidy up that rogue hose :).

was thinking about running it up across my windshield and down the side of the car thru the fender and rim.

i know I can trim it down, and either cut the cover or run it above and behind the coil plugs havent decided yet.

prob a couple of other small tweaks ill have to make when it comes back.

its so relaxing having the car at dave's lol I dont worry about it at all cause I know its in good hands !

6spdg37s 03-23-2018 06:17 PM

only a few cars ahead of me for tunes ! It's gettin closer !!!!

6spdg37s 03-26-2018 07:07 PM
