pinion stripped, the carrier springs and center section are all in pieces, the driveshaft twisted and broke into like five or six pieces, and the inside of the rear is banged up. i know i should go with a stronger rear, problems: I'm kinda broke, my bday is tomorrow and i;m without a car, and if the car isnt moved by monday, i'm outta the house, no exceptions.

it'll bolt in its a bit different though. it has drum brakes on it. and my brother said when he put my rear in his third gen that he things there's a slight size difference. he said you may need to use the third gen offset wheels. but i think my dad only wants $150 for it. unfortunately its 2.73 gears. id probably just try and swap the whole center section if you can.

edit: if you do want it ill be home all day.

yup, the rear, driveshaft broke the other night. i have a driveshaft, looking for a 3/4 chan diff. i do have traction control and abs.

transmission is also bad, but i'm flat broke, gonig to use all my birthday money to afford a diff and have to find someone to help. if car isnt drivable by monday i'm outta my house.

i have a rear axle from a 99 firebird you can have..its a 3.08 open gear....you'd have to come pick it up though is the only problem..i'm not in jersey
