Drove the Trans Am in the Snow Today..
I sold my Jeep last Saturday and I am picking up my next Jeep on Friday. Of course it decided to snow during that short period. I have 2 Trans Ams. The '01 needs head gaskets. The '98 (shown below) has a BAD misfire. Only running on 6 cylinders (#5 and #7 injectors are not firing). Great. Pardon the cell phone photos - these were shot with my HTC Thunderbolt (8 Megapixel):

Awesome drive home at 7pm I'm sure.... |
How did you get those wipers on. Did you use different arms? I have been searching for a way to use regular blades.

...we know its coming...lol. |
definitely sucks driving these cars in the snow. i bought a set of blizzaks for mine and they make a world of difference but i still wouldnt trust it in real heavy stuff.
which is why i purchased el yeep grand cherokee |
Haha, no air is being rammed :( Sad!
I can't wait to get my 5.9L Grand Cherokee - I just have to wait 'til Friday.. of course, it'll be in the 50's this weekend... 'cause I'll then have a Jeep again. It seems any time I don't have a Jeep, we get snow. Then, when I have a Jeep, we don't. But those 2 winters of blizzards, I did have a Jeep thankfully: Dec 2009 - At our place in Brick Township, NJ: http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/W...BCM7687-XL.jpg Feb 6th, 2010 - At my old place in Exton, PA: http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/W...2_kN63e-XL.jpg February 12th, 2010 (Different storm) - West Chester, PA: http://pafirefighter11.smugmug.com/W...BCM8203-XL.jpg January 26th - Chestnut Hill, PA - Not me but another ZJ guy: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...9_366686_n.jpg January 27th, 2011 - Chestnut Hill, PA: http://photos-b.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos..._2757913_n.jpg October 2011 - My last ZJ (Laredo) in North Jersey vs. a tree: http://sphotos-a.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...88915124_o.jpg lol... just a few reasons why I want to make sure the 5.9L will be good in the snow ;) |

these past few winters have been hit or miss. last winter it only snowed twice and it was all melted by the end of the day. i remember it being on average 35-45 degrees. but the winter before that it seemed like we had a storm at least once a week. |
Since my wife and i have 4wds, i sold my snowblower years ago..lol.

The blizzaks were great for me too, but they didnt help ground clearance. I used to do some funky maneuvering to avoid the deep ruts. After a couple close calls, I also got a grand cherokee. Now I look forward to snow 8-) |
Cant wait for the snow... AWD full size pickup w/ new Michellins! Bring it on!!
