92 Firebird Formula

I have moved on from this car. I wanted a t/a vert

This is my 92 Firebird Formula that isn't as pretty as the GTA was but a lot more fun and a little bit more of what I was looking for over all. It is a t-top car with the lexan tops, 3.42 POSI rear with 4-wheel disc and it's an original 305 5 speed dual cat car. The GTA was perfect outside but needed interior. This one is perfect inside but needs a little exterior. Here is a list of mods, im sure I will miss something so if i do i'll update when I remember:

T-56 swap
RAM Clutch
Ronal R15 Firehawk wheels
SLP Runners
SLP Cold Air Kit
SLP headers
Borla Cat-back
Spohn adjustable tourque arm
Spohn Trans Crossmember

I think thats it. I have a Wander bar and Lower Control Arms for it and I need to get me a Panhard rod, Strut tower Brace, and Sub-frame connectors

I only have two pics right now, one dirty and one clean

Other than the T-tops and the 305 nice car! Good luck with it.

Realy like those wheels a lot. I had a white formula also and always wanted those wheels but they were to expensive. At least your is a tpi, mine was a tbi and was far from a performance car haha.

Just a little update. I haven't done too much with the car lately but today I decided it was time to swap out the old cracked dash pad with a good one I had in the garage. Of course I didn't take pics of the old one in the car but I took a couple pics of it once I had it out. And also took pics of the new one installed.

Tightened up the steering box this afternoon, stopped for an ice coffee and snapped a couple pics. Also took an interior shot for those who wanted to see

I like it. You have a nice base car to work with. Nothing seems to be missing or horribly rigged after 21 years of its life. Just a spray job on it and you'll have a nice crusier.

installed Spohn Lower Control arms and panhard hard. feels much stiffer and I had a little clunk back there which is now gone. I will have to snap pics at some point

ram air anyone?

Well ram air hood and box went on today. I know the fitment isn't perfect but I ran out of factory forward adjustment so I am going to have to open up the adjustment slots on the hood hinges to get the hood exactly where I want it. But it is functional for now and closes and latches like its supposed to so its useable. oh well on with the pics
