Mufflex did a sweet job of welding my subframe connectors in, highly recommended.

deadtrend1 07-04-2008 10:13 AM

I want sfc's for my third gen

camaroracer1992 10-15-2008 07:24 AM

weld them in, over time you will egg shape the bolt holes. its ok to bolt em in for placement, but i would definitely weld them in.

with mine in and before my roll cage you could almost pick up 1 corner of the car with a jack and the front would almost come off the same amount too, thats how much the chassis is stiffened.

1st and 2nd as well.....unibody/subframed cars need all the help they can get...

Blacdout96 10-17-2008 08:19 AM

I love my UMI 3-point SFC's. the car had a little less body flex when hard cornering, and felt more responsive. unforunately, i got those dimples behind the doors before they got installed :( a good shock/spring setup will really allow you ot handle better if you havent already. Looks greato n the car by the way.

GP99GT 10-22-2008 01:53 PM

LTb1ow 10-22-2008 04:49 PM
