This is awesome.

Meaningless really. Drag radials means altered. Which means old rules apply again

So I'm guessing its just to compete in the series? Confused now..

It lets new cars show up and pass tech. But anyone that makes the smallest changes won't pass anymore

I thought it was fine if they were stock before this?

IMO this rule will benifit the GTR guys a lot. Tune and a good street tire (not even a dr) and they are moving out pretty good. I'm curious as to how the term "unaltered" will be enforced. They are pretty vague in the rulebook by just using that one word. I highly doubt they will go tell someone with a new Cobra that they need a bar now because they put an intake on their car. I'm hoping the NHRA comes out more about what can and cannot be done to qualify for these rules...

I talked to a guy that does tech at Leb. Valley and he said he thought it ment as long as the firewall was untouched and the car was not back halfed it was fine but he is going to find out for sure for me.Power adders and factory style suspension upgrades and slicks would be fine.Cars with a supercharger would still need a fire jacket
