I've had my share of F bodies over the years. '67 Firebird, a couple 2nd gen Firebirds and a TATA. I just bought an '81 Z28 that I should have done next spring.

What's your name? That's a good time table for the '81; Spring is perfect meet/cruise weather

Hey Blackbird. I worked in Pway for 11 years.

Jersey Mike 12-09-2016 08:33 AM

Brian, if you have time on Saturday the 17th, a dozen or so of us are getting together for lunch at Fuddruckers in Parsippany. Link to the thread here: http://njfboa.org/forums/showthread.php?t=67376

Come out & get to meet some of the other members :wavey:

Nor sure what the plans are yet but we'll try if nothing is going on.

Welcome!

IROCZman15 12-09-2016 05:20 PM

welcome. I see what looks to be a roll cage and some suspension work on it. Awesome

any chance that car has a big block 502 in it? If so, I am wondering if I do know who owned it some 12 years ago...

jbvj 12-09-2016 05:37 PM

It had a small block when I bought it but it could have had a BBC before. The SBC in it was fairly mild for the gearing and transbrake. I did hear people say it was owned by some named Speedy or Lucky or something like that.

I love it. Mine was an 80 but not a z. Had a 502 marine engine. Miss that. Want it back.
