Exhaust adapters for my Corsa Clone tips

So I am looking to *finally* installing my Corsa Clone tips I got back in the day for free from a contest that 6LE did.

Anyway, the OD of my GMMG is 2.5" and the ID of the Clone tips are 3". I've been trying to find stainless reducers but IDK if these mean ID or OD measurements.

I was thinking this would work, but again, ID vs OD so I am not sure.

Also, I'd like to clamp them together, no welding

First of all, call MIDAS with this question. Second, muffler clamps should be able to crush together any small distance between the Tips and the pipe.

Seldom have I run into exhaust connectors that are exactly the incremental dimensions marketed--usually, I've found them to be a smidge smaller than advertised. Take a caliper to what you have and you'll stop sweating.

Also, considering these are 2 inches long, I imagine you'll be doing some minor cutting to keep the tips from sticking out too far off your bumper. They're conical. You'll be fine.

Are you welding these on, clamping them all together, or a combination of both?

*edit*
Also, $1 more on Amazon with free shipping and an easy return policy.

Haha I did use a caliper on my exhaust. Yeah I'd have to cut something short most likely.

I was hoping to clamp incase I don't like them. Maybe weld to tip but clamp to muffler

Worst case, they butt up out of the box and you have to cut the transition piece down. In doing so, you'll inevitably be increasing its ID.

My Kooks tips have slits in them to help compress upon clamping. My cheap ebay knock offs do not. I'll be cutting those slits in before I install them. Easy way to buy yourself a bit more wiggle room.

That's designed to be welded in. Clamped adapters have a small transition and longer areas of the differing diameters to grab with the clamp.

Derr. Adam's right. The one's in your OP aren't meant to be clamped.
