Drag Radial Bracket
 
General Class Rules:
GM F-body Platform Vehicles Only
All vehicles must pass an NHRA safety inspection and must be properly equiped for the ET and MPH they will be running.
After passing tech inspection cars will be allowed to make test/practice runs. The number of runs will be determined by the schedule the day of the event, all cars will receive at least 2 passes, more if time permits.
Eliminations will be held on a .500 Sportsman Tree
Racing is Foot Brake Only. No Electronics(trans brakes, two steps, delay boxes or any other et controlling electronics are prohibated)

Suspension and Chassis:
"Stock" type suspension only.
Bolt on replacement supension components acceptable
Relocation of leaf springs in board to permit clearance of class legal tire permitted
Mini tubs permitted to clear class legal sized tire
No backhalved cars permitted
Welded in subframe connectors and rear lower control arm brackets are permitted.

Exhaust:
Any type of header system permitted.
All exhaust must pass through muffler(s) before exiting system

Body and Interior:
Vehicle must have a "Full" interior. Complete dash, Driver and passenger front seats(rear seats may be removed), inner doors, complete carpeting. Console may be removed, but area must be carpeted. No "tinned" interiors
Vehicles must also have appropriate running gear to represent a "street" car. Headlights, brake lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, factory glass(front, rear, and door).......etc.
Body work must appear to be production. Replacement panels made of lighter materials(fiberglass/carbon fiber) are acceptable
Cars are asked to be painted and presentable

Engine and Power Adders:
Any engine permitted
As much of any 1 type of power adder as you want permitted(twin turbo's, multi stage nitrous, twin supercharger permitted).
No combining of different power adder types.
Intercoolers, Aftercoolers, Alchy/Meth/Water injection permitted.

Transmission:
Automotive type transmission required
Lenco type transmissions not permitted

Tire:
Any brand of drive tire permitted
Class restricted to radial construction racing tire(BFG, M/T, Nitto......Drag Radials)
No restriction on drive tire size

Joe,

There are different classes based on if you want to run brackets, type of tree or heads up. Each class is listed in this forum so I won't go into details about each, but if you post info about your car we can pint you in the right direction as to which class might be right.

from what I see by the sticky's, it's only broken out by electronics, v6 and tire types. If you are looking for something like 12.99 and faster and or 13 and slower, that breakout isn't being made.

At Englishtown, Real Street is 10.00-19.99 ET, 4 DOT tires. Unless it's GM high tech or something then they'll break it out to RP1 and RP2 with the break around 13 something. It will be interesting to have a 13.5 car be half way down the track before you get to launch...

I went into the forum looks like i will run foot brake class which is done by dial in and on a 500 tree

I'm guessing that I'll be in the foot brake class also, DRs but I don't have clue of what my times will be. New cam and no runs... that'll be fun
