RPM Resto & Custom In Print Again!

Just found out yesterday that the 72 Corvette I painted this past spring for a customer will be featured in a 3 page spread in Super Rod magazine's January issue...pages 66-68. I haven't gotten my hands on it yet but I know the shop name is mentioned in there and the pictures were shot at a local airport by the same guy who photographed my IROC last year.

I'll scan in some pics once I get the magazine later this week.

Thanks. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Definitely gave me some inspiration to keep pushing forward on this bear of a Mustang I've been working on too. How can a car not have a single panel that isn't straight??? Hahaha

Congrats on getting another car into a magazine! Someday I hope to get to that point with my pictures. It has to be an amazing feeling.

that's some amazing ink paul, though i think its funny, and sort of un fair that they keep saying you have a crew.. i cant decide if it would be better or worse for publicity for them to know that you're a 1 man show..

It is -always- better to project the image of a company with depth of personnel. Whether they are full time, part time, outsourced, whatever, every sole practitioner should create the perception that other people can get involved when called upon. If you don't do that, then there's risk in the eyes of the customer that, should anything happen to the sole practitioner, the project won't be completed.

Wow, that sounds like a practiced answer or somethin', huh? :shifty:

Edit: Read the article. Nice props for RPM there Paul! Awesome.

Agreed with everything Dave said. Portraying yourself in a bigger picture may seem deceptive but is also necessary. I do have a few choice people in mind I plan on giving the shoulder tap when demand is high enough.
