body panels

I have almost all the exterior pieces to start putting my car together, i got the fenders from napa and was planning on getting the rockers and passenger side quarter panel from them as well because i have a buddy that works there, sad thing is they don't carry rockers or quarter panels lol

Does anyone know where i can get quality rockers and a quarter panel for a reasonable price? I've looked online but the shipping charges are outrageous

your best bet, becuase "oem" is probably goin to be way to much if you can even get them anymore it would be considered "new old stock", would be the call the restoration companies... goodmark, year one just to name a couple im sure there is more out there.. see if they have the full panels or even just patches if you need them....

do you have enough rot to need to replace the entire quarter? I dont remember you quarter panels looking that bad? can you get away with just cutting what you need off a car in a junkyard and using it as a patch panel? Its a hell of a lot less work and cost than replacing quarters

i may try that, the quarter is that bad because the rot goes into the bottom of the wheel well making for a complicated patch panel, but i also wanted a full panel because there are some nice dents by the tail light, and although i could do it with bondo i would rather not
