Area trade/vocational schools?

Has anyone went to school for plumbing and hvac in the area? Where did you go? I'm looking for a night class but would like something that would land me a job and won't require 30k of student loans. So far I've seen some brochures for Union county and Middlesex county votechs but most of the info was for the high school and not continuing education.

Really depends on what your goals are. If you want to make a career out of it I would say invest your time looking for a company that is a union shop. Now is the time that they will hire you to see what you can do. If they like you they will help you get into the local. If your looking to just learn the basics and be able to work on your own stuff then I would recommend a cheaper trade school. I'm a journeymen in local 9 and it's a great trade to be in. Side work is always there if your money hungry and if you hook up with the right company OT is unlimited. Any other question you can PM me.
