Threaded inserts
Looking for ideas on how to attach hose mounting clamps to the underside metal of a 4th gen.
Most if not all, are blind and a bolt/nut will not be plausible, but at the same time, i do not want to sheet metal screw it and have it hacked up. Adam mentioned threaded inserts, we use em at work but they have to be pressed in so again, blind hole negates it use. Other than rivets, which do not lend themselves to removal, ideas? |
nutserts maybe, search the mcmaster catalog.

You can also drill a hole and insert a bung and weld it into place. Grind the welds down flush and it's ultra clean and strong. Check out www.bungking.com for some nice ones
