I'm looking through the NHRA rule book, and I don't see anything that would restrict me from running it as is, unless Melissa can clarify something track specific, because I don't think i'm running faster than 10.9.

The new bike would be fun to run. Should be around 10 so I'll need to check the rules.

I was told you need like a chain guard and kill switch to run any bike regardless of speed. I really want to run my bike.

Your bike should have the shield over the front sprocket, and the factory chain guide cover covers the top of the chain.

Maybe its different on older bikes, but my 2008 is all OEM.

Does your bike have some OEM cutoff that takes place of the lanyard?

I'm pretty sure all modern bikes do, the cut-off is just the red switch on your right side.

I was recently at a car show and speaking to a dude about running my car at island. I have a helmet obviously, but he said that now, since I have a nitrous setup on the car, I'm required to have a fire jacket and or fire suit. Anyone have any insight on this? I'm only running the 100 shot, but it is a wet kit. I do have a pressure blow-down valve/tube exiting the underside of the car.

Yup, power adder requires fire jacket as per NHRA.
