The East Coast Nats weekend is set to kick off friday night, August 10th, with a renewal of the oldest pony car revivalry, the F-Body vs. Mustang Shootout. This will be a muffled, bracket racing event for trophies and bragging rights among the pony car crowd.

Jared1970Chevelle 05-15-2007 03:56 PM

how legit of a show is this... like are there gunna be people who put the camaro teams together at the factory....original build numbers ....etc etc...

NJSPEEDER 05-15-2007 04:45 PM

what do you mean legit?
it is our anniversary gathering. people race, show, and spectate. car show awards are done by popular ballot, and the racing is heads up and bracket.
i am sure there will be some perfectly restored cars there if that is what you are asking.

Jared1970Chevelle 05-16-2007 02:47 PM

who judges??? you? cause if so then its not legit lol.... i can just picture you giving all your friends trophies....lol

any GM brass going to be there? like people who designed the 3rd gen camaro....1st tpi motor.... etc etc like any event at carlisle or very large show... thats what i mean,,,

we aren't big enough yet to get carlisle type crowds. the event was about 125ish cars last year between the show and the racing and a few hundred spectators.
it is a good time, getting bigger each year, but still small enough to be laid back.

Anytime you attempt to view the board when you aren't logged in you'll be asked to read and agree to the forum rules....no way around it.
