question regarding technology and security cameras
I know alot about this stuff and have installed them before but i have to ask this question (its making me feel like an idiot cause i cant figure it out)
my buddy has a cat5 cable running from his cameras dvr to a tv (where it goes into a coaxial input. how is this possible, what adapter do you need to convert it. im in a brain fart lol cause we were talking about how its setup and everything |
It's doing video out from the Camera out of the RJ45 port?

but most of the DVRs i seen are only HDMI or VGA out |
I believe you can run video over Cat5/6 with the RJ45-->Coax ends, but if it isn't putting video out of the RJ45 port, then it isn't going to work

im definitely interested in this gonna try to do some more research and see what i can figure out

VGA to cat5 then run the cat 5 to wherever its going then cat 5 to bnc to coax to the tv...
