My DD 97 S10 4X4
Hey everyone, I receive a lot of compliments on my S10 so I figured I would post some pictures of it to see what you guys think. The history on the truck is, my Brother bought it new in 97 from Westwood Chevy. It has the 4.3, 5 speed with the floor shifter 4WD and AC delete. He gave it to me in Oct. 2009 with a bottom end knock with 165K on it. I had a Jasper motor installed and it just reached 197K. This is the original paint except for the tailgate and front/rear bumpers. I installed a 2003 60/40 bench seat, leather door panels, NOS aluminum wheels, 99 and up outside mirrors, Blazer grille with composite lights, a 2WD lower valance for factory fog lights and I smoked the front markers to blend in with the front bumper when they are not turned on. Mufflex did the exhaust and it has a K&N cold air kit.

I actually love these trucks for what they are. The paint looks great from those pics too! I'm a little jealous!

Looks good. but AC delete? that's silly! lol AC in a single cab is so awesome, instant ice box.
The red is amazing. |
Very nice truck, had a few s10s but never a pickup. My Zr2 with a 7.6 plow pushed snow like a beast. Bet that 5 speed would make it even better.
