brought down alot of trees, half your road was gone. that road is wide enough for two trucks to pass by now it was only big enough for 1 plow to pass.

Anti_Rice_Guy 10-31-2008 01:47 PM

Yeah roads are finally all open now, and 90% of my town has power now. Just got back internet/tv a half hour ago.

Here's more info. FYI me = schooleys mountain

damn thats some serious weather. i think your generator has a flat

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-01-2008 05:07 PM

Yeah, has for years...it never moves so it's not a problem.

Teds89IROC 11-03-2008 11:36 AM

It was weird seeing snow on the sides of the road by melissa's saturday lol. can't believe you guys got that much. We have a generator that stays in the garage from our fishing boat, so if the power goes out for a long time we lug it up to the deck and plug the fridge and a couple of lights in. Very good to have.

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-03-2008 01:39 PM

Seeee, I wasn't making stuff up haha., even though it's pretty much all gone now. Yeah we lose so often that we have it permanently hooked up to sump pump, most lights, heat, some receptacles, fridge, etc. Waittt, you have a generator for the Whaler? Why?

Ohhh didn't know you had that too. Where do you keep it?

Teds89IROC 11-03-2008 10:30 PM

its down in tuckerton (south jersey) at a marina. One of the engines blew and its been down for the count ever since. Cost of 2 new engines plus how much gas has been has kept it sitting...unfortunately.

Anti_Rice_Guy 11-03-2008 10:38 PM

Ah. Should be lower this next season. Get mercury remanufactured motors.
