yes it is a full floater, speedway enginering it is basically the same housing nascar uses. The center chunk is a nascar spec unit from roush.

got a little bit more done tonight. Me and a buddy bent up the main hoop for the cage. It fits a little tighter the the one that was in the car before.

Been making some progress on the cage and rear suspension. Itsa slow process building and designing a rear suspension that will work and be legal to the rules.

thanks, for the kind words. I was able to get the watts link mount fully welded to the rear. now just need to weld the outer arm mounts to the lower frame rail.

PolarBear 05-14-2013 06:58 AM

Did you design the front suspension, or buy something and adapt it?

198esp1 05-14-2013 07:24 AM

it is a one off custom, built around specs I want in my front geometry. the stock geometry goes to crap when you start to really lower the car.

PolarBear 05-14-2013 11:38 AM

You do all the bending and welding of the components too?

198esp1 05-14-2013 05:45 PM

the front suspension was built by a trans am team in texas

198esp1 05-17-2013 07:49 PM

some more progress little more welding and the pass side will be done
