Nevermind. Guy wants to string me along until other offers come in. I don't like that. I offered full price and told him I would pay a deposit now or all cash when I arrive Saturday.

Best offer usually means a lower price than being asked, not a bidding war

Yeah, I'm very turned off by this.

Have a few others send in a low ball offer. Maybe that will push him to bite at the full value price then knock him at the knees in person with cash lol. He sounds stubborn though.

Apparently someone is going to look at them tomorrow so he says he'll let me know tomorrow.

Nothing a little powder coating can't fix. I'd prob do these in all black and put the polished Bogarts on the SS. But that's only if they are still there next week.

You are not being dramatic. Many should hope to get asking price (depending on actual value of course). He probably got a bunch of interest and now thinks he has a golden goose.

That is why I only like type 3 ano on aluminum for black, it isn't "color" sealed into the pores, it is aluminum oxide and it is hard as diamond
