Third gens come stock with more of a T pipe than a Y pipe....aftermarket Y is always way better....

I can't comment on the 3rd gen headers but I put the Pacesetter longtubes on my 96 SS and the quality was very good with thick flanges and the coating looked decent. I'm sure the coating would take a beating over time especially on a daily driver with road debris kicking up and hitting the collector area. Is there any particular reason you're going with mid-length instead of longtubes?

Oh yeah, I had a couple small issues because mine were emission's headers. The AIR fittings were threaded all the way to the top and they aren't on the stock manifolds so I needed some "spacers" to take up that gap. The EGR fitting ran right into the auto trans dipstick tube so I had to "adjust" the dipstick tube location.

i cant use LT's cause my car is a t-5...so pacesetter is the only company with mids for a 3rdgen.... also the price of what i can get them for is about $170 and you cant beat that for brand new headers and y-pipe... any install issues on a t5??
