1996 Trans Am - SOLD
The only reason why it is up for sale is due to a severe back/ neck injury. I have had one spinal fusion done (plate and four screws) and will be going in again for 3 more spinal fusions (plates and screws).
My back and neck cannot handle the firm ride and getting in and out of the low car. 1996 Pontiac Trans Am A4 Green with tan leather Stock single disc cd player with radio steering wheel controls 2:73 gears T tops Modifications: Pace setter long tube headers w/ AIR and EGR Daul 3 inch catco cat's Magnaflow cat back exhaust O2 sensors are about 2 years old - probably have a thousand miles on them MSD Optispark, MSD Coil, and MSD Wires Cold air kit - I don't remember what brand Air foil - summit racing brand Mail order tuning - off the top of my head it was done by Trifecta Performance - I have the paperwork somewhere Poly tq arm mount - summit racing brand Poly transmission mount - summit racing brand Hotchkis pan hard rod 35 mm front sway bar and poly end links/ bushings - don't remember the brand boxed sub frame connectors - don't remember the brand 1.6 roller rockers - summit racing H4 conversion Xenon low beam headlights royal purple engine oil (original owner) Slotted front and rear rotors strut tower bar - don't remember the brand aftermarket alarm locking gas cap LT4 knock modules New battery September 2009 98+ honey comb style tail lights It's been to the track a couple times - last time was June 2008 and it went 13.8 at 102 in mid 70 degree weather. I had it dynoed - since it has 2:73 gears they did the dyno in second gear - dyno's should be done in third gear where there is a 1 to 1 transmssion ratio It made 280 RWHP and 303 RWTQ - since that dyno I added the high flow cat's and mail order tuning - my guess is it probably is at 300 RWHP now Headliner has some tears in it and upper dash piece has a crack in it Pictures: http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4431.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4432.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4433.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4434.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4435.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4436.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4437.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4438.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4439.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4440.jpg http://www.bbbracing.com/12secondv6/TA/100_4441.jpg The car does not have a valid inspection sticker on it - when I replaced the battery, I brought it straight to the inspection station. It failed because all the readiness tests were not complete. I need to drive it some more so that all readiness tests complete - then I can take it back for re-inspection. Since I have the neck/ back injuries, I am unable to drive the car enough to get the readiness tests done. I put about 400-500 miles on it this year I'm looking to get $5,000 but I am negotiable. I'm also open to any trades. I am not interested in another f body or a car that rides hard - my neck and back cannot handle it. If it does not sell then it can sit for the next year or two while I have more neck/ back surgeries and heal up - I just hate to see it sitting there. If anyone wants more specific pictures, I can take them and post them up. |
so would you be interested in the explorer? It is the same one on this forum.
