New times with the New car :)
Made a few passes tonight at Atco Raceway with the 98 SS
It's an automatic with a stock converter and stock 3.23 gears. Still has the stock LS1 intake manifold. Only weight removed was the spare tire and jack. Has BBK longtubes with 2.5" ORY and SLP LM2 (from previous owner) Has SLP lid, SLP ram air and smooth bellow. (from previous owner) And of course, my tune 8-) I think I could get a lil more out of it, but I was happy with what it ran, all things considered. I guessed a 12.89@108mph. I managed a 12.86 @ 109 mph 2.00 60' dead hooking. Conditions were 53' above sea level. I can't wait til' that 4200 stall speed converter comes in  |
Sounds like you are off to a good start. :)

That's pretty quick w/those limited mods....nice.

Thanks gang :)
lol Greg I'm trying to hit 11's faster than I did in the C5  Jake, I did have 255 50 16 drag radials (26" tall) outback. But, the only reason I used them was because they're closer to a stock height (25.7") than my street tires out back (275 40 18 or 26.7" tall) My street tires hook pretty well on the street and wouldn't have a problem with traction at the track. its just theyre too tall lol |
Nice, have fun with it.

I will also be busy with my friend's 2004 GTO (LS1). We might run that on Tuesday night, as we are looking to take the LS1 GTO bolt on record away soon :) (current record is 11.75)
