Boy Scout Car Show in Dumont
 

My friend's son is in the Boy Scouts and they are putting on a car show to raise money for their camping supplies. It is on July 16th at the;

It is $20 to enter and I was wondering if you guys would like to show off your cars. They did it last year and they had a good turn out. Remember, all proceeds (entry fee, food and drink sales) go towards the troop for camping supplies and future camping trips. Hope to see you guys there.

What time does it kick off?

Ill consider it. I have to see if i can get my car on the road by then.

That would be great if you can make it with the car. If it is not done, still stop by. I will have my 91 Z28 entered in the show.

The show is this Saturday, so if you are not doing anything come on by with your cars and show them off. Remember all proceeds goes towards the troop for camping supplies.

I'll toss this up on the club's Instagram page for you to help spread the word. I'm still a very big maybe. Let me reach out to some of the usual suspects and see if others will be around that day.

That would be great! They will be selling hot dogs, burgers and drinks also to help raise money.

I had to work today so I couldn't make it either.

I did not take any pictures, I didn't even think about it. There was a good turn out, 51 cars. The parking lot was full and cars were parked on the street. There were a lot of nice cars. One guy brought his Hellcat and his Lambo.

How much did they raise in all, Jay? Hopefully enough to budget for next year's programs... I hope they do another show that Paul & I can attend. Glad you had a good time!

They made a good amount very happy with the turn out. I think they should find a different parking lot since one side of the lot had a double row. They should try for Memorial Field in town and close down the street, have the cars lined up on the street.
