Pocono Raceway is one of the most historic circuits on the Track Night in America schedule having hosted NASCAR and IndyCar races for more than 40 years. In addition to the oval known as the “Tricky Triangle,” Pocono raceway includes a selection of road courses, the longest of which takes advantage of the ovals’ 3000+ foot straights to create a 2.5-mile 8-turn layout. Located in the mountains of Pennsylvania, the track is a two hour drive from both New York City and Philadelphia, making it a great location for an evening at the track.

Weekday is not ideal but I have an itch I need to scratch. PDR will be recording along with a gopro or 2.

With my Idaho trip, I think I'll have one day left afterwards

I have 0 vacation days left :( This looks like fun

My work schedule has been on the fritz this month, if it remains the same I'd be interested in spectating with a large camera lens.

That is the day after SlipStream's event at Pocono Raceway, on Sunday, Sept. 17.

I highly recommend anyone on the fence make a weekend out of this. Go up Sunday for SlipStream as a racer or spectator, stay across the street from the track at The Village at Pocono, then attend the SCCA event Monday. You will not be disappointed.
