Name: Alex Q About the car: I have owned this car for about 5 years now which I bought while on deployment from a fellow member. After my 1995 Z28 was destroyed by a freak snow storm in October, the heart of that car and all the suspension components were moved over into this 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. Its been a long road, but its finally out and about on the road as I slowly work out the kinks. |
1995 Chevrolet Z28 Convertible
Car was purchased in 2001 off of a used car lot while on vacation. Within the first month it got the stripes, chrome 16" Trans Am wheels, a high flow cat/catback, CAI, and a Hypertech programmer. Since then, the only addition has been three-point subframe connectors. In the meantime, it's been a lovely cruiser, roaming the curvy roads of Northwest NJ and the shoreline. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/614/31...a89f2922_z.jpg |

https://farm5.staticflickr.com/4338/...96dac728_c.jpg Picked up this 94 Z about 2 years ago off of CL. Shortly after, spun a bearing. Rebuilt started with a long block from PamperedZ along with Ported/Polished iron heads. Threw in a hotcam, 1.6rr, chromoly pushrods, new lifters, etc etc. Car back up and running for 2 weeks before blowing the trans. Picked up a trans from sweetbmxriders teardown and a mildly built rear from PamperedZ. Car back up and running for 2 days before being hit by a lady running a stop sign. Body fixed, entire car resprayed, added a rear drop, Pacesetter Lts and some ZR1 Corvette wheels and here she is finally. |
Matt, you need to host on flickr or somewhere else. Photobucket doesn't allow public posting anymore.

Name: Brian D About the car: This is your typical money pit of a build. The car was initially purchased by my Dad in 97 and later my first car. I managed to not wrap it around a tree (not that I didn't try) and continued with mild bolt ons to where it is now. The latest setup includes a fully built drivetrain with a forged 383 and F1A procharger. |
