remote bleeder line is leaking...

So I have the spec remote bleeder line on my t56 trans as you know it goes from the slave out of the bell housing to your location of choice.

This morning get in the car notice that the pedal is kinda spongy...

realize that the bleeder line end is dripping and must be taking air in...

has anyone had this happen before? I think I figured out what thread size it is so I bought a new bleeder from advance that I am going to try.

It appears like it has a lip and the bleeder line has a bevel inside and the bleeder valve threads in and then it seals...

I really don't want to pull the trans again to replace this line so I am praying this works...
should I try using teflon tape on it when I install it ?

thanks-

FYI - the bleeder thread for the spec remote bleeder line is m10 x1.5 so I got another bleeder screw going to try that and pray that it works...
