Finally retired!
I'm not going to go into all the details, but 2 years ago I lost my job with NJ Transit after working there for 30 years. A lawyer advised me to put in for retirement, so I did. After 16 months it was finally approved. So, at the age of 54 I am a free man!

It's about time you old fart! Now you need to take up some lame hobbies like fishing and golfing. Although I picture you as more of a needlepoint kind of guy. Congrats, and let us know when you buy that big beach house and we'll come and visit.

I'm only 51 so I have a few years to go. When I do retire I'll have 37+ years in the system. Congratulations, Bob!

Congrats, sir! I'll be there officially on July 1. Using my terminal leave now, so functionally retired as we speak.

No bricka bracka BOOM POW?
You're really settling into retirement, eh Bob? Looking forward to see what crazy things you do in your increasing spare time. |
