Paint matching lugnuts

Ive got Chrome zr-1's on my polo green metallic z28 vert... black top w/ black guts. Im gonna paint up the calipers once it warms up a wee bit. I got this brilliant notion to get some lug nuts painted to match the body paint or black? leave em chrome? im bored and looking for cheap things to occupy myself with.

after I typed this out, I realized you pry wouldnt be able to tell teh difference once the damn things are in the wheels anyway ... another not so brilliant idea washed away with the feb. rain

Lug nut covers would probably paint up OK, but not the lug nuts themselves. Take the wheels off once or twice and chances are the paint would chip off.

yeah i was gunna paint my lugs black since i have black wheels but realized an air gun would do damage immediately. i thought about caps/covers but they aren't cool. so chrome it shall be.

See how much it would cost to get them anodized, that way they wont chip like paint or powdercoat.
