Adjusting shift points

curious to know if I can adjust my shift points/ tire size with my hand held hypertech tuner after having a custom tune done. Will it just adjust the shift points or does it have to load a full tune. Sorry if this sounds stupid, I should just get HP Tuners but I have this thing sitting on the shelf. Any info would be great.

I would think it over writes the whole tune, but I could be wrong.

having a whole issue with the DSP5 switch on our duramax at work right now with PPEI so I shouldn't talk lol

I think you will end up overwriting the custom tune with the crappy hypertech tune

Throw that thing away.

Buy HPT and be done with it. That way, you can get to tuning your nitrous too.. (:
