Vendor/Sponsor Suggestions????

i was wondering if anyone had any companies they woudl like me to contact about this event. tuner shops, parts places, exhaust shops, install places....basically any business that is either part of or supports the automotive hobby. if they do a lot fo work with f-bodies specifically, that is even better.
if you have an idea post it up here, if you have any contact info that would be great so i don't have to try to hunt it down :)
so far we have year one on board with the goodie bags. lets see who else we can get involved.

As I had mentioned to Tim before via AIM, GM HighTech Performance and High Performance Pontiac are based in the New Jersey Area. I know High Performance Pontiac does ALOT of local big event coverage.

I have a subscription to HPP, and IIRC, they wrote a short blurb asking the readership to submit event info as much as possible since they are always looking for something to write about. The events may not appear in a mag for months afterwards, however the coverage is what counts.

Pontiac Enthusiast is another magazine with similar format to HPP. Both magazines are small enough to care about local events.

get me teh contact info. they usually have office phone numbers or email addresses on teh first page or two. i will give them a call when i start calling all the other mags. HPP is definetly known for covering smaller enthusiast shows. shoudl be a good match since we are in their back yard.

lt14mla 02-04-2005 05:29 PM

my friend knows a kid whos dad supposedly owns a company Tishler Performance or something like that.Hes got a bad ass 383. I might be able to get a hold of him.

89 Trans Am WS6 02-06-2005 11:08 PM

A pontiac/chevy dealer would be preety sweet but wouldnt really have any fbody content. Still cool tho. I would look into the primedia publications. Also maybe steve can help with perhaps setting up something with TTP?

I know when i went for my cutout the QTP guys were real cool and out of ramsey i think(at the time anyway) so they are preety local too.

And also just a shot into the air here but one of the magazines..i dunno if it was aprimedia one or not is going "across the nation" to events and cruise nights and **** like this covering them in the mag..it asked for readers to submit so might wanna give it a shot for some post event coverage..
