what are some cars people are attempting to get their hands on in the future?

I think about this every day. not new cars really (cause they are easy to get, walk in dealer, sign the paper, drive away) but some older stuff

e.g.

some cars I want to get in the next couple years are :

-01-04 z06 or FRC to build
-79-84 (preferably 79-81) Caddy coupe deville

there is def alot more but I think these 2 would be my first choice

LTb1ow 02-08-2019 06:32 PM

Old S10 or Jeep commanche.

No logical reason other than I want a frame rail vehicle to mod. That and hood stack-ability

LS1ow 02-08-2019 07:26 PM

FRC was first thing that came to mind. Single cab short bed full sized pick ups too. Evos.

Small, lightweight rwd jap car with a turbo V8 to scare me. Like a s2000 or even miata with a wild swap.

I have a fondness for old supercharged 03-06 AMGs that depreciated like crazy.

OG Viper GTS

Evo 9 with tasteful mods. Drove one a while back and it was fun.

KirkEvil 02-08-2019 08:49 PM

H1 Hummer
2013+ Viper
awkward boner for a classic roadster LS swap

Featherburner 02-08-2019 09:19 PM

55 Chevy, 55-57 Chevy pickup, 41 Willys, 65 GTO/Tempest/LeMans, 69 Chevelle, 69 Firebird Formula, 70 Nova... I could go on all day!

ar0ck 02-09-2019 06:04 AM

Realistically, a clean 03-05 Cadillac CTS-V or a 2007 Volvo V70 R for commuting.

Almost had an 05 e55 Amg . But it constantly breaking loose even at 60+ and the problem is since it’s an auto u have no control over how it’s gonna come loose and if u keep traction on it cuts the power so ur merging and he car is like break checking itself lol

I think since they keep making trucks bigger and bigger, that s10's will become more valuable.

Personally I'd love any older Cadillac. I want to resto mod one of those big boats and just go cruising

LS1ow 02-09-2019 11:56 AM

Forgive me, but I’ve also always wanted a SRT4 for daily duty

Definately blue 83 Monte Carlo ss,s.
E30 bmws
93-02 supras
R32-r33-r34 skylines
240sx,s
92-02 rx7s.

Nothing really that exciting American made in the 90s-up that’ll bring a ton of money imo

Paul Huryk 02-09-2019 11:50 PM

I want a 1992 Fleetwood Brougham - one of those big 4 door boats that can fit a dozen bodies in the trunk. Plan to pimp it out - big audio system, worked LS3 with nitrous... Going to be hilarious to drive around something so big that hauls ass. I was even contemplating putting chandeliers on the hood like in "Escape from New York".

unstable bob gable 02-10-2019 01:50 PM

Oh yeah, I want an Aussie Ford Falcon like Mad Max, and
a Maserati Bi-Turbo with an LSx swap.

Really wanna build a procharged AWD s10. But also getting pressure from the fam for not having a Holden yet.

eric-86sc 02-10-2019 06:02 PM

Should have reiterated, I meant stuff that isn’t coveted already. Obviously ford Gts, cobras, zr1s are desireable and worth money now. But as far as something 90s that’s currently not worth a lot going up significantly for the future, I just don’t see it.

Hagerty says 4th gens are on the rise. Craigslist shows the market is thin if you are hunting desirable or clean low mile examples.
