Ecu ? 85 pickup LT1 swap and Ecu tuning

I just bought a complete LT1 minus ecu for my 85 K10 pickup, and I was wondering how hard would it be to get a stand alone ecm to run the ign system with opti-spark, should I go with a 94ecm, OBDI with a 95OBDII or some other year and tune it myself with EFI LIVE I'm not going to be doing too much to the engine, maybe a mildish Cam slightly bigger heads, really haven't decided yet, I'm just looking for a project to mess around with on the weekends to have fun with. My other option us scrap the idea of the LT1 and just drop a turbo 5.3 in it, and I know just cuz hot Rod did it doesn't mean its gonna last lol, I'm gits with tuning, I have alot of patience for it but my focus is already turbod and running perfect plus its my dd so I can't afford to break it. Just an idea, posting this to see it anyone has done anything like this before if so leave a comment tell me what you think thanks

i got full harness from both a 95 n 93 Z if you need, with both ECMs. the 93 is tuned for my 383 LT1

I would go 94-95 pcm as the 93 is eprom and needs the chip burned while 94-95 can just be flashed. You can use tuner cats for tuning.

You could always get a carb manifold and do an hei dizzy if you prefer that.
