Just picked up a 2018 Chevrolet CRUZE. It's the Red Hot color with the RS package. Just came off the assembly line with a build date of 01/18. The color really pops out and the RS package just brings it out of the blah look with some sporty styling cues. Gas mileage is rated at 40 mpg hwy and 30 mpg city. The ride is very smooth, plenty of interior room and the 1.4 four Turbo is rated at 153 hp and has a really decent pick-up.

Def looks good and that fuel mileage is great. How's it drive?

Very smooth over rough and potted NJ CRAP roads. Inside the interior is quiet with lots of leg and head room. Handles great and when entering the Parkway or Turnpike, it gets up to speed rather nicely for its size. The one thing that pisses me, is that the factory design for the radio, has taken the CD player out of use. Sure you can download a ton of songs( I don't have a SMART PHONE), but what do I do now with several dozen CD's of my favorite music?

Overall, the quality of the interior materials and the way the front end design looks like the more expensive Chevrolet models i.e.-Malibu/ Camaro gives it the feeling your not driving an ECONOMY low end model. My CRUZE LT had a sticker price of $24,285 that included the RS package and the Convenient Package (Remote start/heated seats/8 way power driver seat-etc.).

If you can take those CDs, rip them to your computer into MP3s, then take a USB drive and plug it into the car. That will put all your songs into one place.

Oddly enough my 17 GMC Sierra has a CD player. I expect it will be the last vehicle to ever have one lol.

Nice buy, the RS package makes them look nice.

I wish they put the LTG 4cyl camaro engine in that thing

I've heard they may well install the 1.5 liter Turbo with 252 hp down the road. THAT would make a nice little rocket.

That RS package adds some sporty add ons, such as fog lamps-Gloss Black grill-body side skirts-rear spoiler and lower rear fender blacked out trim (plus a chrome exhaust tip on the Hatchback model). All this adds $685.00 to the sticker, not to shabby.

Congrats on the new car. My wife had the first generation cruze with the rs package. Sporty little car, only reason we traded in was because of the baby.
