I haven't even gotten the car yet (still in transport from texas) but I already ordered koni's and hotchkis front swaybar from Strano:nod:

Then to find some stock or lightweight wheels and hoosiers, alignment and corner balance and then see how I do against the big boys:?:

sweet looking ride, I see a super charger in one pic. sc=xp. If I was gonna get a new car to race that would be the one cant go wrong with a zo6. Good luck with it and dont be surprised if I try mooch a drive off you.

Whoa!!

Is that replacing the M3 or in addition? Quite an awesome stable you got there!

2MCHPWR 07-24-2011 02:03 PM

sold the M3.
Only one toy at a time!

Sweet car, and good call removing/selling the blower. Can't wait to see it on the road course!

Whoa! May I ask why the change? I take it you missed your old Vette?

2MCHPWR 07-26-2011 06:59 PM

i'm all over the map. change my mind daily.
But the M3 wasn't hard core enough for me. Wanted something more raw.
Was going to buy a pure track only machine actually because was sick of the compromise of using a street car on the track. But then I found this and always wanted an electron blue Z06 so I got it for a good deal so I'll have some fun with it.

maroman88 07-28-2011 09:47 AM

why sellin the blower????

2MCHPWR 07-28-2011 09:49 AM

don't need the power for autocross and road course. will also increase under hood temps on the track.

All of the guys over at Thrust Performance were talking about this car when I was there today. They were saying how much of an animal it is

2MCHPWR 08-16-2011 04:58 PM

LS1ow 08-16-2011 06:02 PM

2MCHPWR 08-16-2011 06:34 PM

Yea Mike is the man. He is currently rebuilding my T56 and your car came up in conversation while I was there checking on the progress of my car.

so jealous!

took the car on the road course (MMC) and it fluid boiled over slightly when I parked it after flogging it for 25 minutes. The undertray air diverter thingy was off and that is needed on these cars to divert air to radiator/intake area. no biggy. Got it back on and all good now.

Got it detailed, removed side tint, body side moldings, installed hotchkis front sway and koni adjustables, raised ride height up slightly (used to be slammed) and alignment and sold the blower and the repro c6 wheels and put on OEM z06 wheels that were chromed.

Sent out the ABS/traction control module to be fixed (code 1214) to a dude on ebay for $50. No ABS on the road course was fun:fidget:

looks awesome! invest in a 3M clear bra for the front, i LOVE mine, and get them for the rocker panels as well, mine doesnt have the rockers done and they take a beating!
