My 1995 Pontiac Trans Am
2 Attachment(s)
When in doubt, return to your roots! Just purchased this fine example of 4th Generation engineering a 1995 Pontiac Trans Am. Purchased from WildBillyT
Speed parts/modifications: - Moroso Cold Air Kit - MSD Coil and wires - 160* thermostat - Pacesetter long tube headers and ORY - Hooker Aerochamber exhaust - UMI subframe connectors - UMI driveshaft loop - LS1 aluminum driveshaft - BMR rear LCAs - Russell braided brake hoses - Energy suspension motor mounts, torque arm bushing and trans mount - Hurst Billet plus shifter - SLP Line lock - SLP 17x9 ZR1 rims with 275/40/17 - AC Delete - PCMForless tune The game plan is to daily drive it for a few months and hopefully begin to swap over the remaining good parts from my Camaro i.e. complete drivetrain and front suspension. From there I will fix the front and rear bumpers that have typical paint issues and throw on a Ram Air I hood! The two attached photos on the Left is original, the Right is my idea of what the finished product will look like. |
didnt u purchase that red camaro and were guna 1LE it?

This time I was able to get Teds89Iroc and one of my friends to go over to Bill's and give it a proper look over and at least it can just be driven back to my home town where my mom will be able to drive it around and use it. |
Looks like a hurst TA, should look good when finished. Congrats though, good to see you finally got another car. In4fancypicsandtastefulappearancemods

Nice looking car! I'd tone the bright gold down a bit if it were me; maybe something titanium colored?
|
Probably the best sounding cat back on an lt1, I loved the way that car sounded.
|
i love that car...if i could get a t/a it would be that one

i had the hooker on my car, stock manifolds and cat, sounded good, just not loud enough, probably shouldnt be a problem with the headers

Hit me up if you need a hand with anything Alex. I need to see this thing in person soon.

I had a couple of ideas of things I want to do to this mistmatched interior Starting with replacing the warped steering wheel: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...0SN_1_orig.jpg Wide rear view mirror: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...500_AA300_.jpg Carbon Fiber Dipper parts: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...o/bird4ox5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2...o/bird6da6.jpg I want to recover the center of the door panels in Alcantra or some type of cloth. |

I have a steering wheel puller if needed. This thing is going to be spectacular. Love the gold wheels idea.

Ran into a few hiccups with the wiring harness, but the driveshaft & torque arm are in. It was getting to cold to finish the exhaust. I'm going to hook up the Hooker exhaust for now just to get it on the road. |
dude, its so cold out today. i dont know how you got that much done

Those carbon fiber dipper parts look awesome. Any idea how to go about doing it?
|
From first hand experience, the wide view mirror gives you an excellent view of the sail panels
|
wow really like that interior usually adding carbon fiber rarely works out but id like to see it done with the alcantara.
|
