What did you buy at the swap meet?

I picked up a set of heads for my blue oval project. $220 bucks and they were rebuilt and cleaned up. Bought it from a guy who runs a machine shop. He gave me his card and he seemed like a really nice guy. Big Ed's Auto./Machine, ASE certified engine machinist. He's right in edison, so I figure if I ever need to get anything amchined, I'll just go there. Thats the only thing I bought, but I got a badass sunburn for free!

Lets here what everyone else picked up. (hopefully no STD's  )

found a set of carbon fiber fuel rail covers, but they were gone when i went back.......that was the only thing that even cought my interest.

although i came home with........4 honda wheels, a honda manual steering rack, some tools, 2 boat propellers, and a cervini's 4 inch cowl hood for a fox body

I scored a pair of Vortec heads off a '98 Tahoe (complete with pushrods, rockers, and exhaust manifolds) - gave the guy $150 and a pair of G-body front lower A-arms. :) I also got new upper and lower door seals for the '88 SS from a Soffseal vendor. Not a bad day today!

i also got the free sunburn..other than that about 25 bucks worth of food and drink and almost bought the right sized slicks but didnt, another guy had the posi i needed but wanted just as much as a new one and found a set of heads but they wanted too much.

I found alot of things I could have used for my old Trans Am, but nothing for my camaro.

All the people with stock 16' 4th gen wheels wanted too much.

-"Take me drunk, I'm home!"
-"Suppose there was no such thing as a hypothetical situation"
-"Your kid may be an Honor Student but you're a friggin moron"

I didn't even make it to the show/swap meet. Worked on the dock, worked on the boat, worked on the 4Runner, worked on a few beers. I was too tired to get up early to head down today, but I also figured that if I saw some nice 1st and 2nd gen Camaros it would make me want to buy something. But at least my boat is in the water for the season already! Glad I didn't sell it back in the fall!
